What makes a Vogue word?

Pretty much the same forces that create vogues in clothes, hobbies, dances, entertainment. Someone influential displays it, Madison Avenue runs the word up a flagpole and everybody who's anybody salutes it. Such words, we feel, are not merely passing fancies. Most of them are viable because when used discriminatingly they often offer us a shortcut in communication. They are able to express in one word what might often have taken three or more words to express as forcefully. Nissim Ezekiel Biography

Nissim Ezekiel Life and Biography:-  Birth and Death: Nissim Ezekiel an Indian Poet also is known as "Urban Ezekiel" was born on 16 December 1924 in a Jewish family in Bombay. He died on 9 January in the year 2004 (at the age of 70) due to Alzheimer.  Nissim Ezekiel also considered the father of post-independence Indian English verse .
