कैसी चली अब के हवा तेरे शहर में 
बन्दे भी हो गए हैं ख़ुदा तेरे शहर में 


क्या जाने क्या हुआ परेशा हो गए 
इक लहजा रुक गयी थी सबा तेरे शहर में 


कुछ दुश्मनी का ढब है, न अब दोस्ती के तौर 
दोनों का एक रंग हुआ तेरे शहर में 


शायद उन्हें पता था की खातिर है अज़नबी 
लोगों ने उसे लूट लिया तेरे शहर में |
